Lenna Maycel Arnett, 93, of Albany, died Sunday at the Mennonite Home.
A descendant of pioneers, she was born on her family's farm near Tangent to Henry and Addie (Pugh) Jackson. She married George W. Arnett July 17, 1920, in Albany.
The Arnetts operated Arnett Turkey Farm near Shedd for 45 years before moving to North Albany. In 1980 they moved to the Menonite Home. Mr. Arnett died Oct. 31, 1991.
Mrs. Arnett was an avid gardener. She belonged to the First Assembly of God and the North Albany Garden Club.
Surviving are sisters-in-law Hazel Arnett of Ventura, Calif., and Gladys and Marie Jackson, both of Albany; and many nieces and nephews, including Joyce Martinak of Tangent, Lavonne Spillman and Beverly Melhiem, both of Lebanon, and Shirley Riesland of Portland.
Brothers Ray and Harold Jackson and sisters Elsie Jakel and Verle Quinlan died before her.
Viewing will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Fisher Funeral Home. Mrs. Arnett's funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Fisher Funeral Home with Chaplain Louis Lehman officiating. Burial will be at Willamette Memorial Park.
