Linn County Native Funeral Friday
Addie M. Jackson, 85, of Tangent died August 12, 1947 in Albany of a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held from the Fisher Funeral Home in Albany Friday at 2 p.m. Internment will be in Oakville cemetery. Rev. Earl Cochran of McMinnville is to officiate.
Addie M. Pugh, daughter of Jesse W. and Sarah Hobson* Pugh was born November 30, 1861 at Oakville in Linn county and has lived all her life there and at Tangent. She was widely known for her christian character and kindly deeds. She was a member of the Baptist church.
She was married November 14, 1883 at Shedd to Henry Clay Jackson who preceded her in death in 1929.
Her children are: Mrs. Elsie Jakel and Mrs. Verle Williams of Corvallis, Ray Jackson, Albany, Mrs. Lenna Arnett, Shedd and Harold K. Jackson, Tangent. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren , 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
*Sarah's maiden name was Ranson.
