Oscar Henry was the son of Oscar Peter and Mary Ann Teney Marshall. His family moved from Mason County, Illinois to Chautauqua County, Kansas in the late 1870's. He married Grace Emily Driskill in Chautauqua Co. on January 17, 1906. They were the father of four children, Cecil Earl Marshall, Pauline Hazel Marshall, Nina Marshall Griffin Finley and James Oscar Marshall. The family moved to Lonoke County, AR in 1912 from Kansas, where Oscar was a farmer.
