He owned Westside Crane & Millwright. He was a member of Westminster Elks Lodge and Golden High School Alumni. Survivors include sons Lon of Louisville, Ron of Golden; daughters Laurel Spence and Bonnie, both of Lakewood; stepson Cody Milnes of Louisville; stepdaughter Vicky Milnes of Northglenn; mother Lucy of Golden; brother Hank of Golden; sisters Irene Logan and Shirley, both of Golden, Crystal Sandlin of Texas; half sister Una Coch of Golden; girlfriend Sammie Soper of Golden; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
