Geraldine Walker Christopher, 84, of 153 Walker Road, Lawndale, died Saturday, May 22 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby.
Born in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Lawson Cleatus Walker and Lula Warlick Walker. Mrs. Christopher was a member of Casar Baptist Church and retired from the Utilities Billing Department - City of Shelby.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Donald Walker.
Mrs. Christopher is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Margie Christopher of Lawndale; two brothers, James Walker and wife Doris of Shelby and Raymond Walker and wife Rosetta of Lawndale; sister, Mazel Wright of Lawndale and step granddaughter, Beth Sibley.
The funeral will be 4:00 PM Sunday at Casar Baptist Church . Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
