Elizabeth Watson Chenoweth was born July 24, 1779 in Maryland, and is very likely a daughter of Henry Watson.
At some point in time prior to 1801, Elizabeth Watson moved with her family to Berkeley County Virginia, now West Virginia, and it was there that she was married to Thomas Chenoweth in Mar of 1801, marriage bond made by Thomas Chenoweth and Henry Watson on Mar 22, 1801. Her first born son, William Chenoweth, was born in 1802 in Berkeley County, just before the family moved to Warren County, Ohio, then soon afterward to Clark County, Ohio where she and Thomas lived the rest of their lives. Elizabeth Watson Chenoweth died March 7, 1856, at age 76 yrs 7 mo 12 ds, in her home in Lisbon, just days after the death of her husband, who passed on Feb 25th.
