Funeral services for Lockhart “June” Howard Brockbank will be Friday, 11 a.m., at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 S. State.
Mr. Brockbank died Monday in a local hospital of a lingering kidney illness
He was the owner-operator of L. H. Brockbank Construction Company, and served as the president of the Utah Homebuilder’s Association of Greater Salt Lake in 1967. He participated in the Parade of Homes for five years.
Mr. Brockbank was a veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion, Post 112. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Mr. Brockbank is survived by his widow; ad son, Phillip, and daughter, Miriam, all of Salt Lake City. Two brothers, Robert Douglas, Canyon Country, Calif., and Elan E., Salt Lake City, and sisters, Mrs. Wellington (Margaret) McDonald, Mrs. Grant (Elizabeth) Calderwood, both of Salt Lake City.
Friends may call at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary Thursday, 6-8 p.m., and Friday, one hour prior to services. Burial will be at the Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
The family requests donations to the American Legion, Post 112 Youth Baseball program, 320 E. 3900 South.
