Mary C. Terschluse - Mary C. Terschluse, daughter of John Gomoluh, and his wife Hedwig, nee Nowak, was born August 5, 1909, at Clover Bottom. She died June 28 at the Cedarcrest Manor Nursing Home, Washington. She was 59 years old. She was baptized at the St. Ann's church, Clover Bottom, and attended the St. Ann's school. She was united in marriage to Henry Terschluse at St. Ann's church, October 28, 1931. Six children were born to this union, Frank, Marvin, Dennis, Thomas, Melvin and Esther (Mrs. Virgil Hellmann), all of whom reside in the Clover Bottom area. After their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Terschluse operated the Clover Bottom store until the death of Mr. Terschluse July 12, 1949. Mrs. Terschluse, besides the six children listed above, is survived by a sister, Mrs. Regina Henderson, Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; three daughters-in-law; ten grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, July 1, at 8:30 a.m., at the Washington Colonial Chapel and at 9 a.m., at St. Ann's church, Clover Bottom, with the Rev. Joseph Miesner in charge. Interment was made in the church cemetery.
