Former County Resident Dies
Funeral services for the late Mrs. Mae Waugh, 86, of Washington Manor, formerly of Kenosha, who died at Kenosha Memorial Hospital, Feb. 13, following an illness of four weeks, were held on Feb. 15. Burial was in the Bristol-Paris cemetery.
She was born Mae Smith on Dec. 9, 1881, in Salem Township, daughter of late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith. She received her education in the Salem schools and spent most of her life in Salem and Bristol townships.
In 1959 she moved to Kenosha. Mrs. Waugh was a member of the Royal Neighbors.
Survivors are one son, Eugene Marsh, Bristol; two daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Ruby) Bennett and Mrs. Francis (Mae) Bennett, both of Zion; two brothers, Lester (Ted) Smith, Salem and Virgil L. Smith, Chicago, one sister, Miss Florence Smith, Chicago; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Waugh.
