Mrs. Zetta Bassett Smith, died early Sunday morning after being confined to her bed only a short time. Mrs. Smith has suffered from asthma for many years and at times has appeared to the family fully as feeble as she was during the greater part of the previous week. She leaves a husband, four sons and two daughters and several grand children to mourn the loss of an affectionate wife and mother. Two sons, Virgil and Lester who are now in France have been in the service of the U.S.A., for some time.
The funeral was held Wed. at 1 p.m., and burial at Salem Mound Cemetery.
