Mrs. Zula A. Vincent, 72 of the Dongola community, on Anna, Rt.1, died Thurdsay in Union County hospital where she had been a patient a few hours following a heart attack.
Born in Dongola Oct 23, 1893, she was a daughter of Wesley and Rose Peeler McCommons.
She married Ernest Vincent, Dec 31, 1915.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son Doyle of Dongola, Leon of Anna, daughter Mrs. Elaine Miller and
Ernestine Calvin, both of Phoenix, Ariz., seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She also leaves a brother Clarence McCommons of Anna and sisters Mrs. Rose Plott of Anna and Mrs. Effie Elliott, Mrs. Ivo Casper and Mrs. Lela Stivers all of Dongola.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church Dongola, where Mrs. Vincent was a member. The Rev. W. Clayton Humphrey, a former pastor, will officate. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Ford Funeral Home, Dongola, after 4 p.m. today.
