BRANDENBURG -- ROBERT VERLAND ALLEN, 47, died Tuesday at his home after a short illness. His wife, Mary Ellen, survives. Funeral, 11 a.m. Friday, St. John's Catholic Church. The body will be at Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home here after 6 p.m. Wednesday.

ROBERT VERLAND ALLEN, 47 years old, of Star Route, Brandenburg, died Tuesday, March 23, 1976 about noon of an apparent heart attack. He was working at the site where his home burned just last week. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Hardesty Allen, and two sons, Gregory and Gary Allen, both of Brandenburg. Funeral services will be held Friday March 26th 11 a.m. from St. John's Catholic Church, with burial in St. George Cemetery, directed by Jenkins-Sturgeon Funeral Home.
