He was born February 18, 1927, in Meade County, a son of the late Paul Warren and Mary Eleanor Arnold Allen. He leaves his wife, Marcella Bennett Allen; 9 children, Mrs Pete (Monnie) Host, Laramie, WY, Mrs Donna Neeley, Louisville, Mrs Tommy (Denise) Ely, Milton, KY, Lonnie R. Allen, Brandenburg, Mrs Ronnie (Terri) Meeks, Stanley Allen, and Michael Allen, all of Battletown, Nick Allen, Norfolk, VA and Miss Cheryl Allen of the home; 8 sisters, Mrs. Thelma Irene Hockman, Mrs. Loretta Mae Jupin, Mrs. Bonnie Jean Wardrip, and Mrs. Helen Patricia Wine, all of Brandenburg; Mrs. Beatrice Marie Hardesty, Mrs. Nina Ruth Humphrey, and Mrs. Rena Lou Humphrey, all of Battletown, and Mrs. Anna Rita Benham, of Valley Station; and a brother Alva Allen.
