Sarah J. Bruton Dies this Morning

Mrs. Sarah J. Bruton, 1222 East Lincoln Avenue, 64, died at her home this morning about 10:30. She had been a resident of this city about 4 years.

Mrs. Bruton was born October 1, 1867 at Cedar Creek, Mo. Surviving are the husband, William Bruton, four daughters, Mrs. B. O. Grim, Wellington; Mrs. T. A. Stark, Ellis, KS; Mrs. W. E. Jones, Wellington; Mrs. C. F. Benson, Wellington; two sons, Hugh Bruton and Floyd Bruton of this city, and seven grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. O. A. Parrish, Forsythe, Mo.; Mrs. S. F. Brown, Missouri, and Mrs. J. H. Holmes, Wilson, Okla.

The Frank Funeral Home is in charge.

Bruton Rites Monday
Services will be conducted from funeral home at 2:30 o'clock

Funeral rites for Mrs. Sarah J. Bruton, who died at her home, 1222 East Lincoln, Friday morning will be held from the Frank Funeral Home Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Rev. Wilkins, pastor of the Baptist Church, will be in charge. Burial will be made in the Prairie Lawn Cemetery with the Frank Funeral Home in charge.

Obituary

Sarah Jane Coulter was born October 1, 1867 at Cedar Creek, Mo., and moved with her parents Rev. and Mrs. T. A. Coulter, to Bellefonte, Arkansas, in the spring of 1887. She was united in marriage to William P. Bruton on March 6, 1890 and to this union six children were born.

She became a member of the Baptist church at Bellefonte in early girlhood. She, with her husband, moved to Wellington in April, 1927. After a lingering illness she passed away in her home, 1222 East Lincoln, Friday morning, February 27 at the age of 63 years, four months and twenty-six days. All of her children were at her bedside when death arrived.

She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband, W. P. Bruton, four daughters, Mrs. B. O. Grim, Mrs. W. E. Jones and Mrs. C. F. Benson of Wellington and Mrs. T. A. Stark of Ellis, KS.; two sons, Floyd Bruton and Hugh Bruton of Wellington; three sisters, Mrs. J. H. Holmes of Wilson, Okla., Mrs. S. F. Brown and Mrs. J. D. Parrish of Forsythe, Mo.; and seven grandchildren, Paul, Frank and Jack Grim, Gaines and Thomas Stark, Fanny Jayne Jones and Bobby Frank Benson.

Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon at 2:30 at the Frank Funeral Home. The singers were Mrs. Hugh Englehardt, Mrs. Lilian McConnell, Dr. C. B. Mendenhall and Glenn O. Miller, with Mrs. William Wilkins at the piano.
