Zanie T. Anderson was 81 years old when she passed away on Saturday, the 20th of March at her residence on day rd in McArthur, California. She died from a long-time terminal pulmonary disease that had also taken the life of her twin sister, Zadie, Many years prior. Zanie was born on February 12th, 1929 in Terry, Mississippi to Vida and Louie Thomas. She had a twin sister, Zadie; older siblings included Marvin, Jewel, Lavenia, Myrtis, and Myrtle.
She was married at the age of 18 to Rev. James C. Anderson. They had 5 children including David Anderson, Beki Bauer, Debora Gerow, Timothy Anderson and Faith Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, eldest son, and a grandson Little Terry Keiser.
Zanies' husband was a Southern Baptist minister, which lead a life of traveling and ministry all over the country, until her husband's untimely death. Zanie retired from banking after 30 years and spent her remaining years with her children and many Grandchildren.
She is survived by four of her five children spending her last 8 years with Debi. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren and 20 Great Grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held for Zanie sometime during Easter Weekend as an opportunity for all of her family members to reunite and praise the many glories and wonderful memories each and every one of us had with her. Zanie was deeply loved by many people and will be dearly missed forever.
