Miss Josephine L. Keckler, 67, of 4141 Marsh Road, Waynesboro, died at 7:45 p.m. Thursday, Jun 1, shortly after being admitted to the Waynesboro Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past five years. Her death was attributed to a heart attack.

Born Dec 24, 1921, near Five Forks, she was the daughter of the late Jacob O. and Josephine (King) Keckler. She lived her early life in Waynecastle and made her home at the present residence since 1951.

She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Zullinger Homemakers Club.

She is survived by five brothers, Floyd J. Keckler and Andrew W. Keckler, both at home, Maxwell Keckler Sr. and Carl Keckler, both of Waynesboro, and John D. Keckler of Greencastle. She was also survived by a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the Grove Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Hoover officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.

It was her request that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made to the Waynesboro Ambulance Squad, South Potomac Street, Waynesboro, Pa 17268.
