Fructuoso Garcia Jr., age 66, passed away Friday, May 5, 1995 in Clayton, NM. He was born at Pasamonte, NM and married Kathryn Vigil on September 4, 1949. He owned and operated a bakery in Clayton for many years and ranched in Union and Harding Counties. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn of Clayton; one daughter, Judy Davidson and husband Artie of Albuquerque; one son, Jonathan Garcia of Anchorage, Alaska; three sisters, Josephine Garcia of Clayton, Cleofas Barbara of Albuquerque and Rafelita Tixier of Conchas; four brothers, Vidal Garcia of Hayden, Louis Garcia and Salome Garcia, both of Albuquerque and Emilio Garcia of Clayton; and one granddaughter, Tiffany Garcia of Anchorage, Alaska. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Clayton with Fr. Vincent Chavez, pastor of Holy Trinity Parish at Arroyo Seco, officiating. Burial will be in the Clayton Memorial Cemetery by Hass Funeral Directors of Clayton, Memorials may be made to Union County General Hospital, Hospice Program, 301 Harding St., Clayton NM 88415.
