Mrs. Edith Chiswell Wootton, Silver Spring, died Sunday, Aug. 5 at the Kensington Garden Nursing Home.

She was the wife of the late Norman Wootton and is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Ella Bamford, British Columbia, Canada; Mrs. Evelyn Cunningham, Lakeland, Fla.; Miss Blanche Wootton, Miss Mary Edith Wootton, both of Silver Spring; three sons, Edward C. Wootton, Hileah, Fla.; Norman D. Wootton, Port Charlotte, Fla.; W. Turnor Wootton, Silver Spring; either grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Hilton Funeral Home, Barnesville, Monday, Aug. 6, from 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held Tuesday, Aug. 7, at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
