HEAR OF MATTES DEATH
Kiel—News of the death of Arthur Mattes of Greenleaf was recently received here. The deceased was a brother of Mrs. Louisa Wagenknecht and Mrs. Katie Stoll of Kiel and George Mattes of Rockville. Funeral services were held at Greenleaf Monday afternoon and burial was in the Rockville cemetery. Mrs. Wagenknecht accompanied her niece, Mrs. Esther Eckhart, to the funeral, but Mrs. Stoll was unable to attend because of illness. A nephew, Herbert Wagenknecht, came from Fort Atkinson to serve as one of the pallbearers.
