Mrs. Elsie Dailey, Widow of the late James L. Dailey, died at her residence, 305 Harrison street, West Kittanning, Sunday morning, October 10, 1937, at 3:30 a.m. She was aged 81 years. She was about as usual on Saturday and retired at about her regular time. About 12:30 o'clock she was taken suddenly ill and passed away peacefully at 3:30 a.m. She is survived by four sons; Harry Dailey, Toledo, Ohio; William Dailey, Leechburg; Charles and James, West Kittanning; 24 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren, also two sisters, Mrs. William McCollum, New Kensington, and Mrs. John Bowser, Kittanning. She was a member of the First Baptist church of Kittanning. Funeral services will be held at the center hill Church of the Brethren on Tuesday, October 12, at 2:30 p.m. in charge of Rev. Walter Kennedy, assisted by Rev. W.K. Morgan. Interment will take place in the Center Hill Church of the Brethren.

Mrs. Elsie (Booher) Dailey, aged 81 years, 2 months and 15 days, of 305 Harrison Street, West Kittanning, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, died at her home at 3:20 p.m. on Sunday, October 10, 1937. Mrs. Dailey was born July the 26th 1856 in Pennsylvania the daughter of Bartle Dailey & Margaret Bowser. She was preceded in death by her husband. Funeral arrangements were in the care of undertaker John W. Rhodes of Kittanning, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. Interment was made on Tuesday, October the 12th 1937 in the Center Hill Cemetery, in Center Hill, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. Information was provided by Mrs. Vernice Dailey of 305 Harrison Street, West Kittanning.
