James M. Dailey, 71, of Kittanning RD 7 (Pony Farm Road) died Tuesday afternoon (May 7, 1963) at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Dailey was born March 7, 1892 in Washington Twp., a son of James and Elsie (Booher) Dailey. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Kittanning, and Kittanning Men's Club. Mr. Dailey was a retired plumber. Surviving are his widow, Vernice (Weaver) Dailey; a son, Lawrence of Kittanning Highlands; a daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Miller of Youngstown, Ohio; a brother, Charles of Kittanning MR 10; two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at 7 this evening and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Snyder funeral home, Kittanning. Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Dr. Robert H. Thurau, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, Kittanning, assisted by Rev. William H. Schaffer, pastor of First Brethren Church, West Kittanning, officiating. Interment will take place in Lawn Haven Burial Estates.
