Ray Stevens is the ninth child in a family of thirteen children to be born to Charles Franklin Stevens Jr. and Aurelia Spencer. He only lived for 15 days and died of broncitis and was buried the next day in the Cedar City Cemetery. He was his parents' fifth child to die in infancy.
