Philip was a retired custom farmer who resided at Route l, Box A in Yacott. Philip was born on May 23, 1895 in Ada, Minnesota to John and Margaret Moriarity-Letcher. He served in the Army during WWI. He was a member of the St. Joseph the Workman Catholic church in Yacott.

Philip married Elsie VanDyke in June 5, 1923 in Alexander, North Dakota.

Recitation of the rosary was last Thursday night and services were Friday at Memorial Garden Funeral Chapel, with interment at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
