TIPTON -- Mrs. Clemma V. Tomlinson, 91, Altanta, died at 10:35 a.m Wednesday, Aug 18, 1976, at the Dickey Nursing Home in Elwood.
She had been ill for two years.
Born April 25, 1885, in Miami County, she was the daughter of Samuel and Lucinda (Koontz)Hollenback. In 1919, she married Everett Liston who died in January, 1926. In 1932, she married Harmon E. Tomlinson, who died in December, 1963.
She was a member of the Atlanta Christian Church.
Surviving are town sons, John Liston of Atlanta and Kenneth Liston of Gas City; five step-sons, Allen Tomlinson of Michigan,
Ralph Tomlinson of Middletown, Guy Tomlinson of Middletown, and Richard of Middletown and William Jackson, both of Tipton;
four step-daughters, Mrs Zella Hashbarger of Peru, Mrs. Vernice Carr of Madison County, and Mrs. Doris Smith and Mrs. Fern Shook, both of Florida, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, 23 step-grandchildren and several step-great grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Leatherman-Morris Funeral Home in Tipton with the Rev. William Bass officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home at any time.
