GILBERT
Former resident of Andrews for 10 years, Mrs. Fernanda B. Gilbert, 68, wife of Ira Gilbert, died unexpectedly at 6 p.m. Friday at the family residence six miles southwest of Andrews in Wabash County on Rt. 1, Andrews. She had resided in the home where she died for most of her life except from 1950 to 1960 when the family lived in Andrews.
Mrs. Gilbert was a member of the Mt. Hope Methodist Church and the WSCS of the Church. She was born April 23, 1985 in Howard County to Samuel and Lucinda Koons Hollenback. She married Mr. Gilbert on November 1, 1924 in Wabash.
Surviving are her husband, Ira; one son Keith L. Gilbert, R. 1 Andrews; six grandchildren; four sisters, Miss Mary Hollenback, Kokomo; Mrs. Clemma Tomlinson, Atlanta, Ga.; Mrs. Maude Reynolds, Wabash; and Mrs. Lula Ackers also of Wabash; and one brother Orville Hollenback, Rt. 7, Huntington. Two brothers and two sisters are dead.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the Deal Funeral Home in Andrews with burial in Garden of Memory Cemetery in Huntington County.

Funeral services for Mrs. Fernada B. Gilbert were held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Deal Funeral Home Andrews with the Rev. Ernest L. Cobbs officiating.
Pallbearers were Bill Hollenback, Jack Hollenback, Lewis Pegg, Ross Reynolds, Kenneth Liston, and Bert Moore. Burial was in the Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
