Former County Resident Dies
Early Friday at Wabash,
Miss Clara L. Hollenback, 68, former resident of five miles south of Andrews on Huntington route seven, died at 12:30 a.m. Friday at the home of a niece, Mrs. Louis Pegg, 585 Walnut Street, Wabash, where she had been residing since last August 17. She had been in failing health for the last two years and was seriously ill since last August.
Miss Hollenback was born August 23, 1888, in Howard County to Samuel and Lucinda Hollenback.
Surviving are five sister, Miss Mary Hollenback, Kokomo; Mrs. Herman Tumbleson (a/b Harmon Tomlinson), Atlanta; Mrs. Maude Reynolds and Mrs.
Lula Akers, both of Wabash, and Mrs. Ira Gilbert, Andrews, and two brothers, Oscar Hollenback, Bunker Hill, and Orval Hollenback, Huntington route seven. A brother Joseph Hollenback and a sister, Laura Quinn, are dead.
Miss Hollenback was a member of the Mt. Hope Methodist church in Wabash County.
Friends may call in the Bailey mortuary where funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in the chapel. Burial will be in the Memorial Park cemetery at Kokomo
