Mary Ann is the daughter of Willis West Sr. and Silvey nee HARMON West. (note: marriage: 1803 in Sampson Co., NC) She is also a twin to Anna Jane WEST. (note: Willis West Sr. was first married to Sarah nee GAINEY in 1789 in Sampson Co., NC.)

Mary Ann WEST had a son named Jesse Journeyman West born Dec. 6, 1839 (Union City, Campbell (now Fulton) Co., GA and died Oct. 9,1916 in Palmetto, Fulton Co., GA. Jesse is buried in the Palmetto City Cemetery.

Mary Ann WEST married Annanias Westbrook on May 23, 1853 in Fayette Co., GA. No children to this union.

Mary Ann died at Union City, Fulton, GA.
