Nellie Beatrice Fitzwater, the daughter of Joseph and Millie McLain, was born at Davis City, February 16, 1899 and passed away at Parsons, Kansas, October 19, 1942, being at the age of 43 years, 8 months and 3 days.
She was married to Franklin Floyd Fitzwater of Beatrice, Nebraska, April 22, 1919.
To this union was born one son, Paul Morrel.
She leaves to mourn her departure, besides her husband and son; her daughter-in-law; two little grand daughters of whom she was very fond; also her mother; five sisters; three brothers and a host of relatives and friends.
Her father preceded her in death by only nine days.
She was converted at the age of 16 and was faithful worker for her Savior, speaking often of her hope in God and never failing to witness for His glory. Services were held at the Union church at Davis City, Saturday at 2 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. George R. Lamb, the F. S. Stewart Funeral home being in charge.
Internment was made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Davis City.
