Vernetta Reynolds Stillman Chegwidden, 87, passed away on Tuesday, May 1, 1990 at her home. She resided at 2996 South 2300 East in East Millcreek, Utah at the time of her death.

Born September 18, 1902 in Murray, Utah to Charles R. and Louise Park Brockbank Reynolds.

Married John Stillman on August 6, 1929; he died in December 1955. Married Russell G. Chegwidden on September 6, 1960; he passed away in November 1966.

Active member of the L.D.S. Church, she has served in many positions over the years. She was our dear sweet mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, and her passing will leave a great void in our lives.

Survivors include a son, Charles F. (wife Raquel) Stillman; three granddaughters, JoLynda Stillman (her child, Molly), Kelli Kammerer (her children, Kathryn and Jonathon), all Salt Lake City; and Michele Stillman, Denver. Also surviving are two brothers, Owen and Jay; and a sister, Hazel Pierson. Preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 5, 1990 at 1:30 p.m. in the Garden Heights Ward Chapel, 2220 East Fisher Lane (2935 South), with Bishop Eugene King officiating. Friends may call Friday evening from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Holbrook Funeral Chapel, 3251 South 2300 East, and at the Church on Saturday for one hour prior to the services.
Interment: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
