Suggested edit: The funeral for Woodrow W. Mathias, 54, of Lost City, W.Va., will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mathias Church of the Brethren by the Revs. Herbert Alfred and Bobby Phillips. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Mathias died Wednesday in Rockingham Memorial Hospital. He was born April 25, 1913 at Mathias and was a son of the late John F. and Julia Sager Mathias.

He was a member of Mathias Ruritan Club and Mathias Volunteer Fire Department.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grace Halterman Mathias, two duaghters, Miss. Mary Mathias of Avon, N.Y., and Miss. Carol Mathias of Harrisonburg, five sisters, Mrs. Arley Stultz and Mrs. Howard Delawder, both of Mathias, Mrs. Charles Haha of Wardensville, W.Va., Mrs. Woodrow Barb of Timberville, and Mrs. Everette Getz of Mt. Jackson, a half sister, Mrs. Grover Caplinger, of Mathias, two brothers, Ben Mathias and Roy Mathias, both of Mathias, W.Va., a half brother, John T. Mathias of Mathias.

Pallbearers will be Victor Cullers, J.W. Strawderman, Dwight Bowman, Johnny Moyers, Boyd Seldon, and Vincent Moyers.
