The following obituary was published in the Herald Coaster on February 23, 1976:

Funeral services for Pearl Hartlage, 85, of Rosenberg, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Garmany and Co. chapel in Rosenberg with Rev. David Tarr and Rev. Homer Davenport officiating.

She died Sunday at Polly Ryon Memorial Hospital. Burial will be in the WOW Cemetery.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Y. E. Sims of Rosenberg and Mrs. E. W. Richter of Sweeny; and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call by the chapel after 2:30 p.m. Monday. * * *
