Funeral services for Eva Marie Sims of Rosenberg, Texas, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2005, at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg, Texas. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg, Texas. Visitation will be held from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 19, 2005, in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg.
Eva was born Nov. 26, 1915 in Rosenberg, Texas to Will and Pearl (Hanly) Hartlage. She passed away June 16, 2005 in Richmond, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Yates Sims; her parents, Will and Pearl Hartlage; son-in-law, Gerald Turner; sisters, Jennie Richter and Lenora Holmes; and brother, Elmo Hartlage.
Eva is survived by daughter, Jane Turner of Rosenberg; grandchildren, Jerry Turner and his wife, Nancy, of Rosenberg, and James Mark Turner and his wife, Crystal, of Taiwan; great-grandchildren, Justin Turner and Heather Turner of Rosenberg, and Jacquelyn Turner and James Turner of Taiwan; stepbrother, William Hartlage and his wife, Charlotte, of Richmond; stepsister, Vera Carhart of Houston; nephews, Edmund "Ed" Richter Jr. of Houston, Charles Richter of Mississippi, and Carson Hartlage of Rosenberg; niece, Dorothy Hinton of Houston; and other relatives and many friends.
