Funeral services for Guy B. VanHorn, 61, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Miner Funeral Home. The Rev. F. E. Voller will officiate and burial will be in Highland cemetery with fellow employees of the Gladwin County Road Commission as pallbearers.
Mr. VanHorn died suddenly Monday morning, while at work, after suffering a heart attack. He was born October 31, 1895 and had lived in Gladwin county all of his life.
Surviving are his wife, Bertha; five daughters, Mrs. Hilda Wandrie and Mrs. Donna Banchoff of Flint, Mrs. Maggie Mae Swanstra and Mrs. Betty Hospodar of Gladwin and Irene VanHorn at home; one sister, Mrs. Jennie Willis, of Skeels; and nine grandchildren.
