BOONE - John C., Sr. At 11:30 A.M. Thursday, December 10, 1964. Residence, Lebanon Junction, Ky. Survived by wife, Mary Amy Boone; sons, John C., Jr., Kenneth Paul, Francis C., Bernard R., C. Keith, Michael C. and T. Wayne; daughters, Peggy Raley and Cecelia Snellen, both of Shepherdsville, Helen L. Boone, Louisville, Mary Willetta Bunch and Sr. Ann Margaret, SCN; 11 grandchildren, 3 brothers, Miles, David and Felix Boone; sisters, Kathleen Hagan, Jessie Cecil, Stella Hall, Elizabeth Boone, Alberta Boone; Louise Sweat and Willie Sweat. Mr. Boone is at Langsford Funeral Home, Lebanon Junction, Ky. Funeral service, 9:30 A.M. Monday, St. Benedict Church. Interment local cemetery. The Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:30 P.M., at the funeral home.

NELSON NATIVE, J. CREPPS BOONE, SUCCUMBS AT 60
John C. (Crepps) Boone, Sr., 60, Lebanon Junction, died Thursday, December 10 at Central State Hospital where he had been in ill health for many years after being injured in a fall 17 years ago. Boone was born at Gethsemane and as a young man went to work as a brakeman for the L&N Railroad at Lebanon Junction where he has resided since that time. Ill health caused his retirement six months ago. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Amy Boone; seven sons, John C., Jr., Kenneth Paul, Francis C. Boone, all of Louisville; Bernard R. Boone, Lebanon Junction; C. Keith a student at St. Thomas Seminary, Louisville; Michael C. and T. Wayne Boone at home; five daughters, Mrs. Peggy Raley, Shepherdsville; Mrs. Cecelia Snellen, Mt. Washington, Miss Helen Boone and Sister Ann Margaret Boone, SCN, both of Louisville; Mrs. Mary Willetta Bunch, Lebanon Junction; three brothers, Miles Boone, Lebanon Junction; David Boone, New Hope; Felix Boone, New Haven; seven sisters, Mrs. James Paul (Kathleen) Hagan, Mrs. Jessie Cecil, Miss Elizabeth Boone, all of New Haven; Mrs. F. F. (Stella) Hall, Louisville; Mrs. Delime (Alberta) Boone, Howardstown; Mrs. T. J. (Louise) Sweat and Mrs. W. O. (Willie) Sweat, both of Lebanon Junction; 11 grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 9:30 A.M. Monday at St. Benedict Church, Lebanon Junction. Burial was in the church cemetery.
