John C. Boone Jr., 64, died Friday at his home. He was a native of Lebanon Junction, a planner at General Electric Co. and an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War. Survivors: his wife, the former Margaret Ann Brian; two daughters, Kimberly G. Childs of Georgetown and Debra A. Cox; two sons, Douglas M. Boone of Morris, IL., and Timothy L. Boone; his mother, Mary Amy Mattingly of Lebanon Junction; six brothers, Bernard R. Boone of El Paso, Texas, Keith Boone of Granville, Ohio, Mike Boone of Martinsville, Va., Wayne Boone of Lexington, Kenneth Boone of Lebanon Junction and Francis Boone of Voorhees, N. J.; five sisters, Peggy Raley and Cecilia R. Shellen, both of Shepherdsville, M. Willetta Bunch of Lebanon Junction, Sister Ann Margaret Boone of Nazareth and Helen L. Sturgeon; and seven grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Church of the Incarnation, 2229 Lower Hunters Trace. Burial: Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, 1-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday and 5-9 p.m. Monday. Memorial gifts: St. John Center.
