Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Hillier Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Don Smith officiating. Burial was in the Restland Cemetery in Gatesville.
She was born June 4, 1912, in Gatesviile to the late Mr. and Mrs. John Barnett. A former resident of Bryan, she had been a resident of San Augustine since 1991. She worked as an LVN for St. Joseph Hospital for many years and was a past member of VFW Post 4692 in Bryan. She was a Methodist.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Barnett.
Survivors include a son, John Boyd Crouch of Bryan; two daughters, Mattie L. Barnett of Pflugerville and June Mills of San Augustine; a brother, Rufus Barnett of Gatesville; a sister, Pearl Whisenhunt of Gatesville; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
