He is survived by the following relatives: wife, Mrs. Wilson Welch; seven sons, Claude Welch, agriculturist of Mendenhall consolidated school; Kiley, Clifton, Woodrow, Willie, Dock and A.G.; daughters, Mrs. Mattie Cole and Mae. His father, T.M. Welch and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services were held from the Goodhope church seven miles east of Mendenhall, at 10 a.m., with interment in the Goodhope cemetery.
