Geoffrey Arnold Osborne, 65, R.R.2, Osgood, Ind., died Sunday, April 16, 1989, at the Dearborn County Hospital, Lawrenceburg, Ind.

He was born Feb. 22, 1924, in Crab Orchard, Ky., the son of Thomas W. and Rosa Kidd Osborne. He was a minister at the United Holiness Church, Milan, Ind. He was also a World War II veteran.

Osborne is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen, two sons, Rodney Osborne, Scottsburg, Ind., and Tim Osborne, North Vernon, Ind.; two daughters, Faith Osborne, Osgood, Ind., and Ruth Osborne, Marion, Ind.; seven sisters, Vivian Barnard, Kurtz, Ind., Esther Kirts, Kurtz, Ind., Rissie Kirts, Nashville, Ind., Retna Kirts, Columbus, Ind., Odella Stoops, Kankakee, Ill., Carolyn Hillenberg, Columbus, Ind., and Estell Pugh, Crawfordsville, Ind.; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Nead and Clark Funeral Home, Osgood, with the Rev. Everett Smith officiating. A full military service will be conducted by the Osgood Legion Post No. 267.

Burial will be at the Union Flat Rock Cemetery, near Osgood.

Memorials can be sent to Rescue 69.
