Russell Turner Burningham, 92, passed away December 31, 1999.

He was born on March 18, 1907, in Bountiful, Utah, the oldest of 10 children of Bry Honri Burningham and Jennie Turner. He married his sweetheart, Elsie Elizabeth Oswaldin on his birthday March 18, 1950, in Blackfoot, Idaho. They were sealed for time and all eternity at the Salt Lake LDS Temple on January 14, 1932. They shared almost 70 years together.

Russell's life was farming; he grew and sold produce in the Bountiful area. When he "retired," he still farmed and sold produce from his front yard. Everyone came to him for advice about their gardens.

Russell is survived by is wife, Elsie; their two sons and their wives, Gray L. and Janet Burningham, William B. and Isabel Burningham; 14 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son Lee Burningham, two brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 5, 2000, 12 noon at the Bountiful 16th LDS Ward Chapel, 720 East 550 North, Bountiful, Utah. The viewing will be on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 295 North Main Street, Bountiful, and also on Wednesday prior to the services from 11-11:45 a.m. at the ward chapel.
