Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Johnson Babb will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 in Glenmora Church of Christ with Brothers Dennis LeDoux and Marlin Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Glenmora.
Mrs. Babb, 88, of Glenmora entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 in her residence with her family near her side.
Eva was a lifelong resident of Glenmora. She was a faithful member of Glenmora Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School and worked in many other church activities. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A. V. Babb; five brothers and one sister.
Those left to cherish her memory and mourn her loss are one son, Allan Babb and his wife, Charlene of Glenmora; two daughters, Eraine B. Clark and her husband, Huey and Jenny B. Carruth and her husband, Zane, all of Glenmora; one brother, Hillary Ed Johnson of Glenmora; three sisters, Janie Jenkins of Bayou Chicot, Mamie Grantham of Glenmora and Alice Mays of Port Neches, Texas; six grandchildren, Todd Babb, Jason Babb, Stacey Reeves, Steven Babb, Penny Reeves and Callie Carruth and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Todd Babb, Jason Babb, Steven Babb, Tyler Babb, Blake Kellogg, Donovan Babb, Ben Babb, Tucker Babb, Jacob Babb and Halen Reeves.
