Ruth M. Pritchett, 87, of Danville, Indiana passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2005 in the Hendricks Regional Hospital. She was born March 6, 1918 in Putnam County, Indiana to Thomas and Hallie (Mason) Runnells. Ruth married Jewell B. Pritchett on January 21, 1939 and they celebrated 50 years of marriage in 1989 prior to his death on February 19, 1990. Ruth was a homemaker and a member of the Lizton United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her five children: Wendall A. Pritchett of Sarasota, Florida, Ruby P. Kehrein of Clayton, Indiana, James L. Pritchett of Danville, Indiana, Sharon A. Smith of East Moline, Illinois and Daniel R. Pritchett of Valparaiso, Indiana. Ruth is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great-grandchild.
Porter Funeral Home in Jamestown will be handling the arrangements where friends may call on Wednesday, August 24th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. with funeral services in the Lizton United Methodist Church at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 25th.
