FROSTBURG--Catherine Dudley Miller, 79, of 140 East Main Street, Frostburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 1994, at the Frostburg Village Nursing Home. Born Nov. 17, 1914, in Eckhart, she was the daughter of the late Perry Dudley and Mary (Eckhart) Dudley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Miller on Dec. 11, 1985; one brother, William C. Dudley, and one sister, Rachel Zimmerman. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Mrs. Miller taught 42 years in the Allegany County school system, retiring from Mt. Royal Elementary School. She was a member of the Maryland and Allegany County Retired Teachers Association and the Frostburg State University Alumni Association. Surviving are three sons, John L. Miller, LaVale, David P. Miller, Baltimore, Richard K. Miller, Frostburg; four grandsons, Matt, Clay, Mark and Eric, and several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Durst Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Richard Metrick officiating.
