Burl Beelar, 51, of Beaver Crossing died very unexpectedly Thursday morning at his home near Beaver Crossing.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon in the Milford Methodist church in charge of Silas Miller.
Burial was in the Pleasant View cemetery in charge of Volland's.

OBITUARY
Burl Beelar, son of William and Amanda Beelar was born at Fay, Oklahoma on November 27, 1900. He lived in Oklahoma until he was fifteen years of age when he moved with his parents to Nebraska in 1914. They settled in the Beaver Crossing vicinity where he spent the greater portion of his life. His father passed away in 1915 and Burl assumed a large responsibility in keeping the family together.
He was united in marriage with Clara Anglemeir on July 26, 1930. They lived near Beaver Crossing and Milford until five years ago when they moved near Bellwood,
Nebraska. They purchased a home near Beaver in May, 1950 and moved to this home in January of 1951 where he passed away September 20, 1951 at the age of 51 years,
9 months and 24 days.
He was preceded in death by his father and three brothers. He leaves to mourn his early passing his wife, his mother, a sister, Mrs. Vera Williams of Nebraska City,
three brothers; Clifford of Cordova, Louis and Clyde of Beaver Crossing, three nephews and three nieces besides many other relatives and a host of friends.
Burl was a hard worker and one who was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in time of need. Many have found that he was one who could be counted on
to help out when an occasion arose. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
