Anna Mary Freeze was born in Pennsylvania on August 12, 1761, the daughter of Michael and Catherina (Nied) Freeze. She married Jacob Valentine on January 2, 1779, in Frederick County, Maryland. They were the parents of 10 children, all of whom lived to adulthood: John, George, Elizabeth, Sarah, Jacob, Catherine, Samuel, Henry, Magdalena and William Valentine. Anna Mary passed away on November 17, 1824, in Creagerstown, Frederick County, Maryland, and was buried in the Creagerstown Cemetery there.
