A memorial Scripture service will be held for Petra Vidal Garcia at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Helen's Catholic Church here. The Rev. Joseph Gorsuch will officiate. A rosary will be said at 9 p.m. Friday at the Valley Funeral Home in Eloy. Burial will be at Eloy Memorial Park.
Mrs. Garcia died March 22, 1989 at the Casa Grande Regional Medical Center. She was 71.
Mrs. Garcia was born Sept. 20, 1917 in Falls City, Texas. She resided in the Casa Grande Valley for about 38 years. Mrs. Garcia was a homemaker and a member of St. Helen's Catholic Church.
Mrs. Garcia is survived by one son, Roberto, of Eloy; three daughters: Stella Rentea, of El Centre, CA, Elena Coronado and Virginia Cardenas, both of Eloy; two brothers: Roman Vidal and Guadalupe Vidal, both of Eloy; four sisters: Margarita Martinez, of Corpus Christi, TX, Estella Jacquez, Alice Guanajuato and Maria Marquez, all of Eloy; 19 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
