Mrs. Geneva Seymour Broyles, senior citizen of Middle Township, suffered a fatal heart attack Monday morning at her home south of Pittsboro. She was 81 years of age.
She was born January 27, 1887. On April 27, 1909, she was married to Everett Broyles who survives. She was a member of the Pittsboro Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star there.
Funeral services will be this morning, 10 o'clock, from the Gregory Funeral Home in Pittsboro. The Rev. Harold Hotchkiss will officiate with burial in the Lizton K. of P. Cemetery.
Survivors include four children, Robert Broyles, Mooresville; Harold Wayne Broyles, Pittsboro; Mrs. Doris Weber, Thousand Oak, California, and Mrs. Geraldine Dickason, Royal Oak, Michigan; a sister, Mrs. Luther Broyles, Danville; a brother, Herbert Seymour, Brownsburg; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A son, Felix Broyles, preceded her October 31, 1963.
