Mrs. Margaret Elizabeth Peterson Green, 63, of Kanesville, Weber county, died at the family residence Thursday at four-ten p.m. after a lingering illness of arthritis and complications.
She was born in Kanesville, Aug. 20, 1880, the daughter of Peter B. and Ann Powell Peterson. She was married to Charles Lawernce Green.
Dec. 19, 1900, in the Salt Lake L.D.S. temple. She had acted as secretary of the Sunday school and was a Relief society worker.
Survivors include her husband and the following sons and daughters; Charles Eitel Green, Peter L. Green, Myron W. Green, all of Kanesville, Corp. Elbert Eldon Green with the U.S. air corps stationed in England, Mrs Viola Watkins of Kanesville, Mrs. Lucile Johns and Mrs. Almira Van DeVeen, and Mrs. Afton Karros, all of Ogden, Mrs. Phyllis Mitchell of Clinton, and Mrs. Fern Poll of South Weber; 19 grandchildren; three brothers and one sister, Thomas W. Peterson, Hans C. Peterson, both of Ogden, John D Peterson of Kanesville, Mrs. Mary A. Christenson of Rupert, Idaho. Funeral arrangements are being made by Lindquist & Sons' Mortuary.
Services will be conducted Monday at one p.m. in the Kanesville L.D.S. ward chapel by Bishop Rollin Green. Friends may call at Lindquist mortuary Saturday from four to seven p.m., and at the family home Sunday afternoon and evening and Monday until time of services. Burial will be in Ogden city cemetery.
