Frank Smith, 92, Salem Township, Dies
Frank James Smith, 92, Salem township, died at the Carmelite Sisters Home in South Kenosha early Sunday morning following a short illness. He was born in Salem township March 9, 1858, received his education in the county schools and farmed for many years near Paddock Lake. He spent his last few years at the Carmelite Home. On July 9, 1878, he married Zetta Bassett who died on Nov. 3, 1918.
Surviving are four sons, Ray A., Wilmot, Ira J., Los Angeles, Virgil L., Chicago, and Lester M., Salem; two daughters, Mrs. Charles Waugh, Bristol, and Miss Florence Smith, Chicago; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
