Maggie Tabitha (Cole, Grigg) Pine--1900-1958

Funeral services were held from the Trenton Church of God on Wednesday, September 17 for Maggie Pine, 58, who passed away on Sunday, September 14 at the Stratton hospital after a lingering illness. Casket bearers were Charles Anderson, Orlan Cole, Roy Cole, DeLynn Cole, Leon Keller and Lawrence Frakes.
Interment was in the Cornell Cemetery...
Maggie Tabitha Cole was daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth Cole, was born in Blue Springs, Missouri, on January 2, 1900 and died September 14, 1958 at Stratton, Nebraska, at the age of 58 years, 8 months and 12 days.
She was married June 21, 1943, to J. L. Pine at Yellville, Arkansas, She was a member of the Mennonite Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves two daughters, Jewell Pine at home and Mrs, Ila (Grigg) Kasinger of Mountain Home, Arkansas; five sons, Charles, Joe, Elry and Vernon Grigg, all of Trenton, Earl Grigg of Milford, Nebr,; four step-sons, Keith Grigg of Scottsbluff, Nebr., Orville Pine of Welch, Oklahoma, Roy Pine of Pueblo, Colo., and Ernest Pine with the United States Navy in Formosa Straits; thirty-five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Cole of Trenton; six sisters, Nellie Frakes, Mrs Lena Anderson, and Mary Keller, all of Trenton; Lora Pierce of Keystone, Nebr.; Violette Kautz of Culbertson, Nebr.; and Josephine Cadle of Flint, Mich.; three brothers, Jasper, Clarence and Roy Cole, all of Trenton; and forty nieces and nephews.
She moved to Trenton at an early age and resided at Trenton until she moved to Mountain Home, Arkansas in 1937 and lived there until 1957 when she returned to Trenton, where she lived at the time of her death.
