CADLE, Josephine M. - of Clio, age 94, died Monday, September 21, 2009 at Medilodge of Montrose.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Living Word Church of God, 6325 Calkins Rd., Flint, Pastor Tim McKenzie officiating. Burial at Flint Memorial Park. Friends may call at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio on Tuesday from 6-9 p.m. Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pavilion fund at Living Word Church of God or a charity of choice.

Josephine was born May 28, 1915 in Cornell, Nebraska to the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Pierce) Cole. She had resided in the Clio area since 1977. Josephine married Jesse Cadle on August 8, 1939. He preceded her in death on July 31, 1990. She was a member of Living Word Church of God where she was a Sunday School Secretary for 59 years.

Surviving are: children, Larry (Barbara) Cadle of Swartz Creek, Rogena (Jim) Kingsbury of Reed City, Norma (Larry) Atkinson of Clio; nine grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; special friend, Barbara Dye of Montrose. Josephine was also preceded in death by her 10 brothers and sisters; granddaughter, Valerie Lynn Cadle; great granddaughter, Valerie Lynn Pease.
